How the site is designed

Assessment status

Measured September 11, 2026 with Lighthouse 13.4.1. The live homepage scored 100/100 for Accessibility, Performance, Best Practices, and SEO in both mobile and desktop lab runs. The story page scored 100/100 for Accessibility and SEO; its other categories were not measured.

Manual checks confirmed the skip link, linked form errors, successful inquiry submission, and a layout without horizontal overflow at a 320-pixel viewport. Screen-reader testing and 200%/400% browser zoom testing have not yet been completed.

Our implementation target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA. That target is not a claim of complete conformance. An automated accessibility score covers only part of accessibility; keyboard operation, reading order, zoom, and form outcomes also need manual checks.

Report an accessibility barrier

Use the contact form and begin the inventory-description field with “Accessibility help.” Include the page address, the task you were trying to complete, and any browser or assistive technology details you wish to share. Do not include sensitive personal information.

You can also email support@dextersurplus.com with an accessibility question or report. The email route does not require the online form, which needs JavaScript.
