How the site is designed
- Body text starts at 20 pixels. Visible navigation, labels, notes, and footer text use at least 19 pixels, including on small screens.
- Content uses descriptive headings, page landmarks, and a skip-to-content link.
- Links, buttons, and form controls have keyboard focus indicators. The page supports keyboard navigation and browser zoom.
- Form controls have persistent labels. Validation provides a linked error summary and retains entered information when submission fails.
- Layout adapts to narrow screens. The page respects reduced-motion preferences and avoids auto-playing media.
Assessment status
Measured September 11, 2026 with Lighthouse 13.4.1. The live homepage scored 100/100 for Accessibility, Performance, Best Practices, and SEO in both mobile and desktop lab runs. The story page scored 100/100 for Accessibility and SEO; its other categories were not measured.
Manual checks confirmed the skip link, linked form errors, successful inquiry submission, and a layout without horizontal overflow at a 320-pixel viewport. Screen-reader testing and 200%/400% browser zoom testing have not yet been completed.
Our implementation target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA. That target is not a claim of complete conformance. An automated accessibility score covers only part of accessibility; keyboard operation, reading order, zoom, and form outcomes also need manual checks.
